The ministry of Spiritual Direction is an absolute privilege, and I am very grateful to have been trained through the Emmanuel Centre, Gunnedah. As a result, I was introduced to the inspirational Sr Eleanor Dawson rsj, she played a major part in my development as a person and Spiritual Director. During my days as a teacher, I was trained to facilitate Retreats in our diocese. I still facilitate this work (retired from teaching) which allows me the opportunity to spend special time with staff in our schools. My knowledge and experience as a Spiritual Director is a blessing, knowing that God is ever present in the – challenging conversations and experiences, and times of great joy. I am married to a now retired farmer, we have 5 children, partners and many grandchildren.
