Through many years of ministry in educational and parish settings, and beyond formal church settings, I have long been aware of the deep spiritual  hunger in so many people. It is there that I am most drawn in my ministry. I gained my Spiritual Direction formation through the Wellspring Centre at Ashburton over 15 years ago and, since that time, availed myself of other formative experiences which would enhance my capacity for responding to those who seek spiritual companioning in formal and informal ways. I find I myself am enriched by accompanying another as together we attune the  “ear of the heart”  to the gentle movement of the Spirit. While face-to-face  is my preferred form of encounter, my experience has convinced me that on-line mode can be fruitful for some who are restricted by travel time or geographic distance.
