As a Spiritual Director I feel a sense of awe and wonder when I companion someone on their spiritual journey. It is such a privilege to witness God acting in the life of that person. When I first discovered spiritual direction it felt like ‘coming home’. Years later when asked to be Director of the Archdiocese of Adelaide Spiritual Directors’ Formation Program I was happy to take on that ministry. Today, alongside giving spiritual direction, facilitating retreats and offering supervision, that is my focus.
My background is in education and I have been an educator to primary students beginning their school journey, teachers in training and seminarians preparing for ordination.
Things in life that bring me joy and a sense of fulfilment include time spent with my husband, children, grandchildren and friends, a covenant relationship with the Sisters of St. Joseph, being in creation, listening to music, drawing and playing chess.
