I am a priest in the Congregation of the Passion of Jesus Christ, commonly called The Passionist. The Order was founded to contemplate and preach the passion of Jesus as the most overwhelming sign of God’s love for us. I have ministered in faith education and spirituality for most of my 34 years as a priest. Importantly the Passionists were founded as a contemplative – apostolic Congregation. I seek to hold in balance these twin virtues, at the same time offering where I can the wisdom of this way for all Christians. I hope to affirm fellow travellers on this journey amidst the increasingly complex demands of the modern world.
It was the change of the millennium, Year 2000, which brought with it a life changing sabbatical, leading to further study in the USA and Australia in the field of Spiritual Direction. It is a ministry I love and in which I thrive. I am passionate about ministry in spirituality – assisting others to explore and deepen their relationship with God.
